| All I can see in this photo is the little bit of schmutz on the letter E. I have to go out and clean that off, now. Of course, it doesn't bother me enough to take another photo. |
I've had three cars in my life - a Ford Mustang, a Toyota Spyder MR2 and now my new VW. I loved my Mustang (Molly) and my Spyder (Kashi)...but my new car is by far my favorite. That's right. It's that good. And the Germans aren't even paying me to say that. YET.
Now this begs the question....Why has no one told me about Volkswagen before now? What kind of friends let me walk around in my German carless life? I mean what's a simple, "Hey, Paige - you know what make of car would be really good for you? VOLKSWAGEN." See...that would have taken five seconds. But OH, NO. No one bothered. People just don't care anymore.

| My new bff. I wonder what his name will be... |
However, after the fact I've had no less than fifteen people say, "Oh, yeah...that Jetta suits you." Well, thanks. Thanks a heap. I know that now.
But I forgive you. I know I have to learn these things on my own. It'll make me stronger. I'll be fine.
Now I know.
And I might be converted for life.
:)

*super jealous* I want a Jetta!!!
I totally wanted a Jetta. I ended up with a Buick instead. The only other people I see driving Buicks are like 150,000 years old. That's ok. Maggie's a good car. She has a kickin' sound system, so I'm happy. :D
Several in my family have owned bugs (old style) and micro-buses over the years. I always enjoyed driving the bugs.
I almost bought a Rabbit GTI (back in the day), loved the Corrados, and now am considering a Golf GTI if (when) the 'Topless Swede' (my old Saab 9-3 convertible) dies.
Congratulations on your beautiful new car!
Congrats on the new car! I've alway wanted a VW myself :)
Sorry, try again Grrrrrr
Congratulations :)
I don't have a Volkswagon, but my car make begins with V so that's just as good - right? (Besides, my dad has a Skoda and that's just a Volkswagon by another name!)
Better! :D
Hope your VW romance ends better than mine did with my VW New Beetle. I was in serious love...but at the two year mark, it started falling apart and the magic was over. I hope you have a happier fairytale ending. It looks snazzy!
LOVE volkswagons! Congratulations!
Wow, nice Jetta :) Jason would be proud. He owned 2 Jetta's when we lived in the US. He loved those cars so much that he drove them until they literally fell apart. Though that's not because of bad workmanship. Blame it on the rough care that he gave his cars.
We have had 2 VW's ...great car. Cool pictures! (-:
That is beautiful! I'm so jealous. I've never had a VW but my husband had a Jetta and he still talks about it. Congratulations!
My brother-in-law has about 40 VWs, but he's not sharing :-( I think he's trying to collect the set or something!
Yay for you! I love new cars. Mostly because they are clean. We had a Jetta...but our experience wasn't so great...but it was used and I think Hubs bought a lemon. Sigh. But yours looks amazing!
Posted about you today. Miss you, my friend, and your quirky corner of the world.
You must be on one long ride...miss your humor in the blog world. Hope you are well!
Does this make you a Jetta Knight?
