Hi Paige,
Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog!
I have browsed some of your blog and I love it, it's brilliant! I love the way you write, and your stories from your parents visit made me laugh out loud!
I'll be back to read more :-)

I think it is the coolest thing. Seriously. And I love cramming people into small spaces. Great!! When Hubs graduated we had a ton of people in my house. Like 34 people...most of them small. It was a bunch of fun! What a great tradition!

I think you have started a wonderful tradition! i am so glad you loved the puppy. She has the cutest name....grits, only in the south! Her big brother is called tater, for potato salad. They are regular visitors to our classroom.

Wow!! Sounds like quite the feast! And 326 pics only?? I've been known to take 500+ without blinking an eye. Now tell me if I've done anything with all those pics and I couldn't tell ya ;o)

I love the wine count! Sometimes at a big party, I'll score four or five bottles of wine! I love it because it's typically wine I wouldn't buy myself and I usually find a few real gems in there...

Fascinating statistics. I love that you did this :D

With 5 vegetarians in attendance, I'm curious about the menu. What did you cook besides turkey and the standard side dishes?

I'm a vegetarian, too. I normally just cook the usual, because I end up lacking the energy to make something special for myself as well.

I loved this post! The statistics are great. How fun that you are sharing a bit of American culture, and how sporting of your friends to join in on the fun!

I love the idea of Thanksgiving and we have a dinner over here every year and I am not even American! I think it's definitely an idea worth sharing!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

You took 326 pictures but you're only giving us 2? What gives?! Where's all the pictures of people eating all the amazing food you must've prepared or the aftermath of all that eating? Where's the photo of all the empty wine bottles? Where are the photos of the food! The suspense is killing me!

By the way, I totally laughed out loud on the googling stat. That's totally what I would've done :)

Maybe you've started a movement, and more and more of this initial batch will fan out and infect others with the Thanksgiving spirit/tradition in future ;-)

Paige, I'm not sure why but this made me feel for a moment like one of those complicated word math problems where you have to calculate percentages, etc.

I started to feel some anxiety and then I had to laugh at your statistics.

What a terrific and fun link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "T".

You just make me smile.
