picture patterns

I love photographing churches and cathedrals...like this one, The Basillica of the Sacred Heart in Atlanta, Georgia.

There are a lot of things I like to photograph no matter where I am in the world.  Some of those things are bicycles, churches, people and food.  Do you find that patterns emerge in your photography? Are there some things you take photos of more than others (other than maybe your kids/family, which is a gimme)?

I love photographing people, but I especially love photographing food! It's the foodie in me :)

I love wrought iron. Stupid? Yeah, especially when you live in the Southwest. Very little to see. If I had beautiful churches around, that may qualify.

I love taking pictures of my dog (basset hound) and barns. I'd say those are my two favorites, but now I have a new DSLR and once the weather isn't crummy I want to start playing with it more.

I love cathedrals. Those are amazing photos that you took :) It's also a very red cathedral. When I hear cathedral, I normally picture a very dirty grey stone building or something that was once beige but has been worn down by weather. This building actually looks very shiny and new!

As for photo patterns? Hmm, I'm all about the architecture and the food. Of course, I also like doing the panorama horizon shots of the city or sceneries too. Oh and E. I love taking photos of E. :)

I love taking pictures of unusual windows, like the one on your cathedral.

Popping over from www.furbottoms.blogspot.com!

Cathedrals are awesome ... and I bet Great Britain has a bunch of them ...

Food and dogs...it seems to be what fills up my memory card. :)

Beautiful photos...I agree, churches and cathedrals make wonderful photographs!

Hmmmm...I'm not really the photographer in the family but have lots of shots of trees and sunsets.

I love the second photo. The colours are so vibrant!

For me - dry stone walls, reflections, water (places, rather than people I think!)

I tend to only take pictures on holiday, so the theme would be scenery and architecture and you have picked some nice architecture to photograph. Cracking photos as always :-)

The only pattern to my photography is dirty kids. I seem to find them everywhere. No matter how many times I wash their faces, they end up dirty in the picture. Sigh... Someday they will care. Someday I will care. Until then...smudges.

Your photos are great!

I like to photograph churches, too. I recently photographed one in Maryland.

The ocean, the shore, sunsets and birds. I really suck at taking pictures of people. They hardly ever look good (the pictures, not the people). It's been a dull winter for me and I have been feeling the lack of photo-worthy things in my life lately. I need to get out!
